Geography

 

Milos, a very beautiful island in the south-western edge of Cyclades, is found in the distance of 86 naval miles from Piraeus. From Easternly to Westwards it has width 23km, from North  to South 13 km, and the surface is appreciated 151 m2. Milos has the shape of petal and forms a big gulf.
The tallest mountain is the Prophet Ilias 748m, in the Western part of island.
Administratively, Milos belongs to Cyclades. The islands Milos,Kimolos, Siphnos and Serifos constitute the eparcheio of Milos.
